How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: I finally read the books a few weeks before HBP and I honestly do not know why I didn't get into them sooner. I'm a librarian for crying out loud XD;

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: Ron, Neville, Remus, Luna, Hermione, Ginny, Harry... I really love most of the cast. XD;

What's your least favorite book and movie?: I like all of the books. The movies irk me on various levels, but POA is definitely my least my favorite.

What non-HP fandoms are you into?: Mostly manga fandoms: Rumiko Takahashi works (InuYasha, Urusei Yatsura, Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, etc.), One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist, Detective Conan. Also I follow Avatar: The Last Airbender and Heroes.

What do you post about outside of fandom?: Work, my pets, Pixar movies, real-life stuff.

How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: I think I was 14 when I got into it (grade 8). I remember it becoming really popular and I liked fantasy in general, so I ordered the first HP book from a bookorder and became obsessed from there. Before I even finished the first one I already bought the 2nd, 3rd and 4th from Walmart.
I think what really sucked me in was JK's writing style and how each character was fascinating in their own way.

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Sirius, Remus, Dumbledore, and Lily.

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?: Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny and James/Lily.

What characters/pairings do you talk about most often in your journal?: None really since HP isn't my primary fandom at the moment. Whenever I do talk HP, most likely it's to do with my favourite characters listed above, or anything canon.

What's your favorite of the seven books?: Prisoner of Azkaban.

What's your favorite of the movie adaptations?: Chamber of Secrets and Order of the Phoenix.

How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: Er, honestly I can't remember...I think I picked up the first book around 1998. At any rate, I started before Goblet of Fire came out. And I read them because I was bored, and my brother had a copy--but I kept reading and he didn't.

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: Ginny Weasley. The Malfoys. Bellatrix Lestrange. Luna, because she is amazing. Oh and Dumbledore. :D

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?: First it was Ron/Hermione, then Harry/Ginny. Now it's mostly Draco/Pansy, Pansy/Ron, Lucius/Narcissa, Neville/Luna and the occasional Draco/Harry. ;)

What characters/pairings do you talk about most often in your journal?: Er, actually, I don't really post about a certain character or pairing. I talk about the series in general and sometimes I make fic recs.

What's your favorite of the seven books?: Goblet of Fire. It has always been.

I've been reading the books since 2002. My father bought me CoS because he didn't know which one was the first book. Anyway, I didn't realize that I wasn't reading the first one but I still got onto the story quite well.

What are some of your favorite HP characters?:
I've always been a fan of Hermione. I think she's awsome. I also like Ron, Dumbledore and Harry alot.

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?:
Ron and Hermione, of course :P And I always liked Harry/Ginny, but not as much as R/Hr... I also got quite attached of Remus/Tonks.

What characters/pairings do you talk about most often in your journal?:
Hehe, I think it's Ron and Hermione.

Oh, that's hard to say. I really loved the last one, but my heart will ever stick to the second book, just because I read this one first.

The films are getting better and better (with one execption). Right now I can't wait to get the DVD of the 5th.

I would say the 3rd book and movie. But I also don't like the first book very much. Maybe I was too bored by the story because I knew everything that happend in there (because it wasn't my first book)

I'd like to have friends to whom I can talk to. If I and he/she are sharing good laughs together it would be even better :) I think similar interests are also important.

I don't like people who are acting stupid (and by that I mean really really stupid) For instance: I'm making a Harry Potter video, creating my own storyline, where Hermione dates Neville (or something like that) and someone comes up and says: "Oh it's not true, she belongs to Ron! This can't ever ever happen." These people are driving me insane, because it's fanmade and it's not canon. They just don't seem to understand what fandom is. Anyway, I'm also not very fond of character bashing. A little bothering is alright.

Ohh, too much to tell you xD I've listed them all on my profile, but here's an extract: my favorite movie is Moulin Rouge, I love reading thrillers like "Candlemoth" and satires like "a dirty job". Me too! I finally made it to a release party (last book and all) and I couldn't believe I waited so looong! I'm usually reserved around people, but I guess since I knew we all were there for the same thing, it just was so easy to talk to people and get to know everyone. I was so disappointed that I was unable to get emails or something on some of the great people I met!

Oh and I'm greatly annoyed by bad drivers too, lol. Also...randomness = win for me. You're completely right, life would be boring without it! Mind if I friend you?

How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: I've been into HP for about eight years- a little less. I read the first three books in a row because I'd heard they were very good. The rest is of course, history.

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: I really adore almost all of the cast. HP has one of my favorite, if not my favorite, ensemble casts. My favorite character is Ron then Neville and Luna. After that, in no particular order some of my favorites are Hermione, Harry, Ginny, Remus, Fred & George, Lupin, and actually pretty much every single member of the Weasley family and a good majority of the adult cast/Order members.

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?: RonxHermione, NevillexLuna, HarryxGinny, RemusxTonks, RemusxSirius, JamesxLily, BillxFleur.

What characters/pairings do you talk about most often in your journal?: RxHr and NxL as they're my two favorites. The other ones from time to time. As far as characters, Ron (and the Weasleys as a whole) and Neville I think the most.

How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: For three or four years. I didn't think twice of the books at first, not even considering giving them a chance. Didn't like reading that much back then anyway. Then I got sick one day and borrowed it from a friend. Simple as that. Even though I've seen the first film before I read the book, I have become enchanted, and it hasn't left me ever since. Here I am completely obsessed still! :)

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: I love many of them. From the marauders and Lily to the Weasleys and Hermione. Luna is incredible, and so is McGonagall. And though I hated Snape the entire series, oh how I admire him now. But I guess I love the trio the most.

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?: Hermione/Ron, Sirius/meLily, james/Lily, Harry/Ginny etc.

What characters/pairings do you talk about most often in your journal?: I don't tend to talk about pairings much, since I never cared too much. For me the series has never been about romance, but about a friendship stronger and more beautiful than anything else in the series. I liked how Jo put forward the love between friends, parents and their child, and so on. But I guess I still had my hopes and tips, and I talked most of my hate for harry/hermione, heh.

What's your favorite of the seven books?: That's so hard to say. It changes constantly.

What's your favorite of the movie adaptations?: Sorcerer's Stone, I think. It was so magical.

What do you post about outside of fandom?: Life, observations, normal troubles. i use Lj to interact with people with different views, share ideas, but I try to stay myself as well. internet can be so fake at times, but thanks to LJ, I have found some wonderful and great friends. And I'll be happy to meet some new ones. :)

What are you looking for in an LJ-friend? (this can include anything from 'someone who'll comment' to 'someone to RP with' etc.) Yes, i like people that comment from time to time. It's nice to know that someone you have friended cares in a way. And I enjoy talks outside of LJ as well, not only in the internet, but to write letters and such. It can be so much fun, heh.

What are some of your pet peeves/dislikes (real-life or fandom)?: I don't like when I leave comment after comment on entries to my LJ friend, and that person never bothers to reply to a single message. That's really a let-down. I hate hypocricy, homophobia, sexism, people blinded by themselves and fakeness.

Other favorites: Books, Movies, TV, Music?: Many, many books. Same goes for the films, since I'd like to be an actress one day! And I have this special love for animated Disney movies. They so remind me of my childhood. From TV I watch Grey's Anatomy and a couple of other shows that always have the luck of getting canceled. And I love music...am into rock and punk, but also indie and pop. I don't like disco, hip-hop and stuff like that, but have no problem with other people liking it. Sometimes I just can't help and make fun of it.

How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: I've been into Harry Potter for eight years. I got into it because my fourth grade teacher read it to the class. He used to pronounce Hermione's name "Her-me-own", haha.

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: Tied for first favorite are Remus Lupin, Neville Longbottom and Ronald Weasley. After that are the Weasley twins, Severus Snape, Hermione Granger, Lily Evans, Sirius Black and sometimes James Potter.

How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: Since 1999 or 2000, about. My neighbor was reading Goblet of Fire at the time, and he was babbling nonsensically about it, so I decided to get into the series to understand what he was talking about. I

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: Who are some of my favorite HP characters? Hmmmm. Severus is definitely one of my favorites. Before it was just because he was funny in his own bastardly way, and now after HBP and DH, I love the depth and uncharacteristic courage there is to him, so I enjoy his part a lot. I tend to like the villainy/bastard characters, honestly. I love Bellatrix and Tom Riddle, but I'm sad there isn't more depth to Bellatrix. On the 'good' side, I love the Weasley twins.

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?: Errmmm, there are a lot I like. Draco/Hermione, Draco/Harry, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Sirius, Severus/Lily, Blaise/Hermione, Pansy/Ron, Albus Severus/Scorpius (haha...).

What characters/pairings do you talk about most often in your journal?: When I talk about HP in my journal, I don't usually go into absolutely detail, like about characters and pairings. I suppose I mention R/Hr, or slashy pairings. I talk about Voldemort/Riddle a lot.

What's your favorite of the movie adaptations?: I used to hate Cuaron's adaptation of Prisoner of Azkaban, which was sad because I really love him, but now I'm starting to love it. I think Chris Columbus did an excellent job in terms of setting and making it all feel real. My favorite is probably Order of the Phoenix, because Yates really delves deep into the emotional side, which is something we haven't really seen before.

What's your least favorite book and movie?: Sometimes I can't bring myself to re-read Chamber of Secrets. It's also difficult to re-read Philosopher's Stone because of the first few dull chapters. My least favorite movie is, hands down, Goblet of Fire. It was a shambles.

Hello :) I think we'd get along famously. I love good movies and literature (my mother's an English teacher and my father's a journalist, and everything you can infer about me from that is probably true). My favorite HP film is PoA, too (Alfonso Cuaron is one of my favorite directors), and I love Remus/Sirius (and Lily/Snape since DH). How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: About 10 years now. I saw the first book at a book fair at my elementary school and thought it seemed great so I bought it and the rest is history.

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: Ron is my absolute favourite. I love the guy to death. I like Fred and George too. And Harry, Ginny and Hermione.

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?: RHR IS MY OTP. I am a hardcore RHR shipper. Harry/Ginny is great too and I think Neville/Luna is cute.

How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: I've been reading the series since I was thirteen, but I've only been involved in fandom about a year and a half. I discovered that a favorite author of mine (wildmaglet)from a different fandom had written HP fanfic, which led me to SIYE, which led me to PS, which led me to reallycorking which led me to LJ. And here I am.

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: I have serious trio-love, but Harry is my favorite overall character. The Marauders (minus Peter, for obvious reasons) are also pretty high up there. And Weasleys!

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?: Since I didn't even consider shipping until I discovered fandom -- and that was well after the release of HBP -- my 'ships' are all canon. That said: Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks and James/Lily.

What characters/pairings do you talk about most often in your journal?: All of them equally, I think. I've written a smattering of things, but no one pairing more than another.

What's your favorite of the seven books?: Prisoner of Azkaban. Deathly Hallows is up there but I haven't had a chance to reread it yet, and that typically makes a difference.

Other than that though...I'm certainly not going to turn people away! I love having new friends and new people to meet. I value anyone who is mature enough to carry on an intelligent conversation, can have fun and makes me think. Also, as a writer, I find it invaluable to have someone with whom I can bounce ideas off of.

How long have you been into HP? What got you into it?: I held out for quite a long time when a lot of my relatives were talking about the books and encouraging me to read them. I stubbornly didn't feel like jumping on such a crowded bandwagon. Must have been the teenage rebellion! :) But I think that I started reading the first book and then the first movie came out, and I instantly fell in love with the character of Ginny Weasley and that was it.

What are some of your favorite HP characters?: I love Ginny. From the moment that I saw her being sidelined by her older brother and consumed with a hopeless crush on his best friend, I thought, "I can identify with that girl. And they're so going to get together." She's battling it out with Tonks now, though, as far as favourite character goes. I also have much love for Neville, Remus, Harry, Ron and Hermione. And Kreacher won me over with the treacle tart.

What are some of your favorite HP pairings?: Remus/Tonks and Harry/Ginny

What characters/pairings do you talk about most often in your journal?: Same as above.

What's your favorite of the seven books?: From a shipper point-of-view, I love HBP, and also for its light tone. With the obvious exception of the end, it's the romantic comedy of the series and I find it easy to re-read. I also like the first book, where everything is new and exciting for Harry, and it reminds me of the Enid Blyton magic-and-boarding-school stories that I grew up with.

What's your favorite of the movie adaptations?: Order of the Phoenix. I was surprised, because it's not a favourite book, but I loved the movie.

What's your least favorite book and movie?: The never-ending angst and rage of Harry in OotP gets on my nerves a little. I know that his life is crap at that point and the CAPSLOCK!anger is understandable. But it's still annoying. I thought DH was extremely impressive in most ways, but it didn't tie up all of the loose ends and the fact that storylines like Remus & Bill versus Fenrir Greyback were sort of abandoned was a little odd. I obviously wasn't thrilled with certain deaths, either! :) As far as the movies go, I'm not sure. Maybe Goblet of Fire?

Do you do any fanworks (art, fic, icons, etc.)? If so, what?: I write the occasional fanfic, which are all on my LJ sidebar, and the very occasional batch of icons, although I'm pretty hopeless with graphics.

In the fandom, I really can't stand cute nicknames for characters. Like "Remmy" for Remus. He's not a pet guinea pig. And he's not Dudley.
