Main Fandoms: Hetalia (the only one I'm "active" in), One Piece, Kuroshitsuji, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Dexter
Favorite characters: Hetalia: America, France, Russia, England, Spain, and Sweden. One Piece: Roronoa Zoro and Sanji. Kuroshitsuji: Grell and Soma. Dexter: Doakes, Debra, and Masuka
Favorite pairings: Ohhh boy. Uh. I'm pretty liberal when it comes to pairings, to be honest. Though lately, I've narrowed it down to America/England, Russia/America, France/England (main) while also appreciating Sweden/Finland, Greece/Japan, France/Spain, England/Spain.... as for One Piece, I'm a huge Zoro/Sanji fan.
What do you post about in your journal?: Fandom stuff, career stuff, things I fail at, and occasionally I throw in random posts when I'm sleep deprived and having lost my mind. Also, CAPSLOCK ABUSE and emoticons galore. :DDD I can't express myself well without such things.
What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: Honestly? Anyone who is chill and positive and likes to live.
Other favorites: Books, Movies, TV, Music?: Hot Fuzz and The Matrix are my top favorite movies. Books-wise I like sci-fi, horror, and comedy... stuff by Scot Sigler, Craig Spector, Janet Evanovich !!! For TV, I already mentioned Dexter, but I also like Seinfeld (huuuuge fan), Curb Your Enthusiasm, King of the Hill, Spaced (English tv series with Simon Pegg), Modern Family. Uh for music, I love alllll types... few examples are Coldplay, Muse, Rammstein, Ozzy Osbourne, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Michael Jackson...

Criminal justice, like, the law side?
I'm working on psych and forensic science majors, but the schools I've gone to/am going to say they don't have forensics programs but criminal justice :/ They're trying to tell me it's the same thing.

Oh, I got my Bachelor's in Psychology from Amherst! Psychology majors brofist!! Hmm... Criminal Justice is a sort of general law offset, I'd say, with emphasis on police administration, public policy, social theory, constitutional law and how it pertains to law enforcement, and crime investigations (both on scene and off). But... it's a little different from "forensics." I dunno why they would tell you it's the same thing. Dx I'd say that forensics is much more science-oriented and focuses on analyzing the physical evidence of a crime scene. You would definitely have to choose a program that specializes in that area.

Forensics is the lab-work part of crime scene investigation. I get so pissed when they try telling me it's the same thing! If I wanted to do law, I'd go to law school. BC
I'm taking general chemistry again. If I can just get the generals out of the way, I can go a tech school for forensics. I was initially going to attend an ITT school nearby.
Instead I went to a private Lutheran college and hated it.
So I'm going to start at UW-Parkside this year. I hope it works out better than my other school.

I wouldn't mind going into investigation, but I think I enjoy playing with lab equipment more...even though I'm really bad at chemistry.
I'm pretty good with fingerprinting, though.
